本課程為過去上下學期民意調查理論與實務的合併課程,《請注意:學年下學期實務課程不再開設》。本課程第一階段內容安排,將從民意相關理論與調查方法作概括性的介紹,除了對民意及民意調查 有深入的探討外,並嘗試對於實際民意調查的過程與一些關鍵課題做一介紹。第二階段課程內容進一步著重於實際的調查企畫,問卷擬定,訪員訓練、管理,調查實施等實際應用的學習。整體課程安排目的,在使修課學生能透過課程,包涵民意相關理論與調查方法概括性的介紹,瞭解民意與民主政治的重要關係,同時對於實務應用面的民意調查能有進一步的認識,能夠培養區隔民意調查的品質與瞭解其中關鍵,同時作為民意調查實務課程的基礎。,除了對民意及民意調查 有深入的探討外,並嘗試對於實際民意調查的過程與一些關鍵課題做一介紹。除了理論之外,也訓練同學的訪員技巧以及相關調查經驗,以培養能夠獨立規劃調查研究案為最終教學目標。This course is a combined course on the theory and practice of public opinion polling in the past two semesters. 本課程目的在於說明三個主要內容,一是「民意」,其次是「調查」,第三是「民意調查」的整體意涵。本課程分為上下學期分別開設。本學期重點在於使同學瞭解何謂民意,並介紹當前廣為運用的民意調查的研究方法,並著重調查理論方面對於民意的形成與特質、蒐集民意的各種調查研究方式、問卷設計以及研究設計相關的概念,加以簡介。本課程為下學期民意調查實務課程的先修課程,修過本課程能修下學期的實務課。
