【課程內涵】
本課程透過選讀政治學的英文著作，來培養同學們的閱讀及翻譯能力。課程內容涵蓋七項主題：民主與政體轉型、政治系統、民意與政治傳播、政治暴力、國際關係、失敗國家、環境政治等。此外，課程的進行方式如下：一，以每週討論的主題為核心，選定一篇政治學的英文著作，作為閱讀的指定文本；二，教師講解概念、論點與案例；三，修課同學在閱讀並且翻譯指定文本之後，於課堂繳交作業。【Course content】
This course develops students' reading and translation skills by reading English works on political science. The course content covers seven topics: democracy and political transformation, political system, public opinion and political communication, political violence, international relations, failed states, environmental politics, etc. In addition, the course is conducted as follows: First, with the weekly discussion topic as the core, an English work on political science is selected as the designated text for reading; second, the teacher explains the concepts, arguments and cases; third, the students take the course After reading and translating the assigned text, submit the assignment in class.
本課程的主要內容為政治學英文著作之選讀。藉由重要文獻著作的研讀，除了增進學生的專業知識外，也增加英文閱讀能力。
The main content of this course is selected readings of English works on political science. Through the study of important literature and works, students not only enhance their professional knowledge but also improve their English reading ability.
課程所使用的著作以英文為主，由教師選定，並且視情況做調整
