1737 - 組織與經濟 Organizations and Economics


教育目標 Course Target

本課程從經濟學的觀點,探討組織如何形成、影響個人行為,進而形塑社會樣貌與影響經濟表現。課程設計分為兩部分:前半學期討論以交易成本為基礎的組織理論,後半學期則以契約設計為主。我希望能用簡單的數學推論和口語化的方式介紹經濟組織理論,並輔以大量相關研究與案例幫助學生理解組織和制度對個人乃至社會、經濟的影響力和重要性。學生將學到如何將課堂學到的理論和案例形成並分析有興趣的經濟組織相關問題。From the perspective of economics, this course explores how organizations form and influence individual behavior, thereby shaping society and affecting economic performance. The course design is divided into two parts: the first half of the semester discusses organizational theory based on transaction costs, and the second half of the semester focuses on contract design. I hope to use simple mathematical reasoning and colloquial language to introduce the theory of economic organization, supplemented by a large number of relevant research and cases to help students understand the influence and importance of organizations and systems on individuals, society and the economy. Students will learn how to formulate and analyze the theories and cases learned in class into economic organization-related issues of interest.

市場經濟是依靠組織來運作的。家庭、營利企業、非營利事業、政府、市場等都是組織。本課程集中在解說私企業和非營利事業這兩大類組織方面。透過這課程學生能瞭解:一,各種組織的質性。二,組織如何透過契約進行經濟治理。三,現存的各種經濟組織模式。四,組織架構的設計原則。五,組織的人力資源管理。
A market economy relies on organizations to operate. Families, for-profit businesses, non-profits, governments, markets, etc. are all organizations. This course focuses on two major types of organizations: private businesses and nonprofits. Through this course, students can understand: 1. The nature of various organizations. Second, how organizations conduct economic governance through contracts. 3. Various existing economic organization models. 4. Design principles of organizational structure. 5. Human resource management of the organization.
