亞里士多德的《詩學》(Poetics)是西方第一部有關劇作與文學理論的哲學論述，本課程引導學生透過該原典中英譯文的閱讀，了解亞里士多德有關詩的藝術(含音樂的韻律、合聲、節奏、曲調)，詩的種類與不同特性，構成好詩的主題結構，組成詩的部分的數量與性質，以及其他相關議題的哲學分析。Aristotle's Poetics is the first Western philosophical discussion on dramas and literary theory. This course guides students to learn about Aristotle's Poetics through reading the original Chinese and English translations. (including musical rhythm, voice, rhythm, tune), the types and different characteristics of poems, form a good theme structure, the quantity and properties of the parts that form poems, and philosophical analysis of other related topics.
