本課程的目標在於培養歷史思維的能力、訓練解讀歷史文本的能力以及加強認識基督宗教與近代史學的關係。課程內容首先說明基督宗教與神意史觀的特質，其次以分類的方式講解神意史觀與近代西方歷史思維的關係。最後以小說、動漫及科幻電影為文本，扣緊「烏托邦」和「反烏托邦」兩個概念，解析神意史觀的原型及其影響。The goal of this course is to cultivate the ability of historical thinking, train the ability to interpret historical texts, and strengthen the understanding of the relationship between Christianity and modern history. The content of the course first explains the characteristics of Christianity and the divine view of history, and then explains the relationship between the divine view of history and modern Western historical thinking in a classified manner. Finally, novels, animations and science fiction movies are used as texts, and the two concepts of "utopia" and "dystopia" are closely linked to analyze the prototype and influence of the historical view of divine will.
