本課程旨在對明代之政治制度、社會經濟、文藝活動與學術科技等方面進行通論介紹，並且引領同學閱讀相關文獻史料、學者研究成果，以瞭解明代作為開啟近代中國的歷史地位之意義所在。This course aims to provide a general introduction to the political system, social economy, literary and artistic activities, academic science and technology of the Ming Dynasty, and guide students to read relevant historical documents and scholar's research results to understand the significance of the Ming Dynasty's historical status as the beginning of modern China.
