本科屬中文系大一中文的一門課程,授課對象為中文程度需要加強的僑生或外籍生。內容首先觀察學生自我介紹的表現,了解其聽講和書寫的程度。其次以現代文學的散文及短篇小說的導讀,作為前期的主要教材,而以學生講述中國文學故事的內容為輔助教材,除了補充相關的國學或文化常識外,並安排問題討論,以其增進學生思考和表達的能力。後期教材以古典詩詞和現代詩為主,輔以學生的分組戲劇表演。而學生每週撰寫的閱讀心得寫作,則視狀況於課中作示範性討論。本課程的教學目標,重在以循序漸進的方式增進學生聽說讀寫的能力,並培養學生對於文學作品的鑑賞能力。除了在兼具古典與現代的文學導讀中,側重文本的詮釋與相關的主題討論,並透過學生演說中國文學故事和戲劇演出的過程,訓練學生表達的能力並擴充教材的多元性,進而啟發學生閱讀的興趣。This undergraduate course is a freshman Chinese course in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature.
