一般學生對日治時的作家及作品大多了解不多，本課程旨在帶領學生深入的認識與閱讀日治時期的文學作家與作品，透過每週一位作家及作品，可以更精細地了解作家的文學歷程，以及其作品所具有的時代意義，如此，也可銜接戰後台灣文學史的發展，掌握更全面地文學背景及脈絡。
Most students do not know much about the writers and works of the Japanese colonial period. This course aims to lead students to have an in-depth understanding and reading of literary writers and works of the Japanese colonial period. Through a writer and his works each week, students can have a more detailed understanding of the writers. The literary history of the book, as well as the contemporary significance of its works, can also be connected with the development of post-war Taiwanese literary history and grasp a more comprehensive literary background and context.
