一般學生對日治時的作家及作品大多了解不多，本課程旨在帶領學生深入的認識與閱讀日治時期的文學作家與作品，透過每週一位作家及作品，可以更精細地了解作家的文學歷程，以及其作品所具有的時代意義，如此，也可銜接戰後台灣文學史的發展，掌握更全面地文學背景及脈絡。
Most students don’t know much about writers and works during the Japanese reign. This course aims to lead students to in-depth understanding and reading literary writers and works during the Japanese reign. Through one writer and works every week, they can more detailedly understand the writer’s literary history and the contemporary meanings of their works. In this way, they can also engage in the development of later Taiwan’s literary history and master a more comprehensive literary background and connection.
