本課程是語言學入門的概論性導讀，從普遍語言學出發，概述語言的基本性質、詞彙結構、語法結構、語用現象等等。
本課程將集中講述漢語的類型學特徵、構詞特性、漢語句法，及漢語的語言演變過程，課程著重於漢語體系的語言議題，並在相關處強調漢語與其他種語言如英語、法語、日語、韓語的差異。
本課程目標為：
1.掌握語言的基本特性和重要的語言學理論
2.瞭解與分析日常語言各層面的特質
3.訓練對語言的觀察能力與敏銳度
4.掌握教育部對外華語教師認證考試「漢語語言學」科目試題

This course is an introductory introduction to linguistics. Starting from general linguistics, it outlines the basic properties of language, lexical structure, grammatical structure, pragmatic phenomena, etc.
This course will focus on the typological characteristics, word-formation characteristics, Chinese syntax, and the language evolution process of Chinese.
