動畫結合藝術、科技、商業、教育、視覺文化等不同領域的一種多重結構性的藝術。若要創作出好的動畫藝術就必須掌握當代動漫與社會文化的互動趨勢，尤其在後現代的文化浪潮中，動漫可以能從不同的觀點及文化層次來詮釋，因此好的動漫劇本創作概念之表達便成為成功動漫之首要條件。
本課程著重動畫的核心概念的培養；以單格繪製及多媒材的手法來培養學生對動畫劇本創作之基本能力，深入了解動畫的本質，探討角色動作的表現，場景分割與時間的掌控，以期在劇本創作的學習中過程中，建立更具發展性的動漫畫創作方向。
Animation is a multi-structured art that combines different fields such as art, technology, business, education, and visual culture. If you want to create good animation art, you must grasp the interaction trend between contemporary animation and social culture. Especially in the post-modern cultural wave, animation can be interpreted from different perspectives and cultural levels. Therefore, one of the concepts of good animation script creation is Expression has become the first condition for successful animation.
This course focuses on cultivating the core concepts of animation; using single-frame drawing and multimedia techniques to cultivate students' basic ability to create animation scripts, gain an in-depth understanding of the essence of animation, and explore the performance of character movements, scene segmentation and time control. In order to establish a more developmental animation and comic creation direction in the learning process of script creation.
課程著重於漫畫的表現形式與反映社會現象，透過創作形式演練和講述提升漫畫的奧妙與趣味，進而建立對漫畫文化的認知與觀念。
