Introduce to Legal English (II)
教育目標 Course Target
本課程承繼法學英文(I)，針對美國本課程之目標係以訓練法律人於面對現今法律實務及法學研究之全球化之趨勢時，應具備之基礎法學英文聽、說、讀、寫之能力，透過美國聯邦法院的案例解析，加強對法學英文的熟悉度及運用，以助日後從事國際法學研究或實務之能力。本課程包含基礎法學英文聽、說、讀、寫全方位之研習，以充實基礎法學英文字彙，輔以美國判例之研讀與撰寫摘要，加強法學英文讀與寫的能力及法學聽力之訓練上，加強同學以英文表達研究領域之議題與學術討論的能力。
This course follows the English (I) of Law. The purpose of this course in the United States is to train the legal persons to face the trend of globalization of current legal practices and legal research. They should have the ability to listen, speak, read and write in English in basic law. Through case analysis of the Federal Court of the United States, they will strengthen their familiarity and application of legal English to help them in their future international legal research or practice. This course includes comprehensive research on basic law in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, to enrich the English writing of basic law, to read and write abstracts based on American case studies, strengthen the ability to read and write in English and practice legal listening, and strengthen the ability of students to discuss issues and academics in English expression of research fields.
