學生從認識生態系統服務功能、氣候變遷議題，學習生態復育理論，與其在不同空間尺度規模的應用，包括國土與城鄉的生態規劃，都市環境生態復育、棲地營造，水域生態環境育；和運用指標物種、生態工程系統原則與方法，指導生態棲地的復育與營造。最後再回饋到生態系統服務功能檢視營造成果之效益。

Students learn about ecosystem service functions and climate change issues, and learn ecological restoration theory and its application at different spatial scales, including land and urban and rural ecological planning, urban environmental ecological restoration, habitat creation, and water ecological environment restoration; and the use of indicator species and ecological engineering system principles and methods to guide the restoration and creation of ecological habitats. Finally, feedback is given to the ecosystem service function to examine the effectiveness of the creation results.
