社區工作是社會工作三大方法之一,顯見其對社會工作專業的重要性。目前對於社區與社區工作已有許多學理及實務性的討論,實施社區工作的主體可以是社區本身、公部門以及民間單位,因著社區工作的推動方法不同,其所具備的特性以及工作技巧即有差異。隨著歷史的演變,台灣本土化的社區工作內容與方法有其獨特性,如何引領學生了解社區工作學理與實務之內涵,是本課程所要講授及討論的主要內容。Community work is one of the three major methods of social work, which shows its importance to the professionalism of social work. The main body of implementing community work can be the community itself, the public department and the private sector. Due to the different ways of promoting community work, the characteristics and work skills of their preparation are different. With the evolution of history, Taiwan’s localized community work content and methods have their own unique characteristics. How to guide students to understand the connotation of community work theory and practice is the main content of this course to be taught and discussed.
