本課程針對社會科學研究中關於量化邏輯、研究設計與步驟、以及統計方法等
面向間的關係進行系統性介紹。課程重視對量化研究相關概念的理解與應用,
而非複雜的統計技術,並具有以下核心教學目標:(一)培養同學了解適合量
化研究的研究提問、(二)增進同學對統計概念與分析的實作能力、(三)訓
練同學閱讀與理解計量社會學論文的能力、(四)培育同學對基礎計量方法的
熟悉度,並打好來日學習新興計量方法的基礎。[The following are tentative course materials, the official version will be released in class on February 2, 2019]
This course focuses on quantitative logic, research design and procedures, and statistical methods in social science research.
