This course will introduce fundamental theories and methods in survival analysis. The emphasis is on statistical methods which are useful
in analyzing data obtained from prospective and retrospective cohort studies,
including nonparametric and semiparametric regression estimation for interval censored and
truncated data.
Topics include the followings:
1. Nonparametric analysis of interval censored and truncated data;
2. Nonparametric analysis of doubly truncated data.
3. Semiparametric analysis for interval censored and truncated data

The purpose of this course is to train students to use statistical methods correctly and apply them to relevant data analysis in the industry or other research fields. The highlights of the analysis results and the writing of reports are also the focus of course training. Inquiry skills and data analysis ability of students from the department's statistical inquiry or other data sources.
