This course studies a collection of important research topics in international finance. The first half of the course covers several fundamental theorems such as purchasing power parity, interest rate parity, international Fisher effect, and so forth. The other half of the course will focus on regional study for Southeast Asia countries, China, USA, and the European Union. The theories, the role of these selected countries, and the regional agreements will be addressed based on a pool of handouts and journal papers.
