地景生態學為高年級或研究所的課程，地景生態學(Landscape Ecology)是研究景觀單元的類型組成、空間分布配置及景觀系統中相互作用的一門學科，關注景觀中組成的異質地表的結構、功能和動態。強調空間組織、生態學過程與尺度之間的相互作用是景觀生態學研究的核心所在。本課程希望讓同學具備從不同尺度來探索地景上的現象及其變化，希望同學在修課後對於人與環境之間關係的探索時能有一個新的觀察及思考的角度。

Landscape Ecology is a course in an advanced or research institute. Landscape Ecology is a subject that studies the type composition, spatial distribution and configuration of landscape units and interactions in landscape systems. It focuses on the structure, function and movement of the different surfaces formed in landscapes. Strengthening the interaction between space organization, ecological processes and scales is the core of landscape ecological research. This course hopes that students can explore the phenomena and changes in the landscape from different scales. They hope that students can have a new perspective on the exploration of the relationship between people and the environment after the course.
