Humans have various psychological phenomena, and other non-human animals also have psychological phenomena. Non-animals may not have psychological phenomena. As far as people are concerned, psychological phenomena are related to human activities and habits. Psychological phenomena such as hopes, fears, dreams, thoughts, desires, etc. play a certain role in our lives. Some psychological phenomena, such as rationality, are even considered to distinguish people. and markings of nonhuman animals. Philosophy of mind studies the nature of these psychological phenomena. It is particularly concerned with the relationship between psychological phenomena and the body, and even the physical world. It also discusses consciousness, thought and language, action, self, etc. In this course, through explanation and discussion of these issues, students are expected to have a basic understanding of the philosophy of mind.
