與生物科技相關的生活科技產業將是本世紀最重要的產業之一。此產業之研究、開發與生產的工作，將需要兼具生物化學知識、生物醫學基礎與產業製造技術三者專長的人才。本學程以提供目前基本生物科技與醫學領域的知識，而相關的技術發展及新的應用亦會詳細說明，期待提供有興趣的學子ㄧ個良好認識此產業及技術的入口。預期效益: 學生將獲得以簡單的生物科技知識而進一步了解生物科技產品的實質內容本課程內涵涵蓋基本生物學,細胞學,分子生物學及微生物學, 將以最簡單易懂的方式將生物技術及生物科技新穎的知識融會貫通。並為了加深學生學習的印象, 在每門知識學習完畢之後佐以BBC影片並進行辯證討論。The life technology industry related to biotechnology will be one of the most important industries in this century. The research, development and production of this industry will require talents with expertise in biochemistry, biomedical fundamentals and industrial manufacturing technology. This course aims to provide current basic knowledge in the field of biotechnology and medicine. Related technological developments and new applications will also be explained in detail. We hope to provide interested students with a good introduction to this industry and technology.
