Humanities: Public Art Project

教育目標 Course Target

本課程在介紹何為公共藝術,瞭解公共藝術與藝術創作的差異,思考藝術美學與公共性論述的平衡點,從法源依據、美感教育、實務操作,探討公共藝術介入生活與環境等面向,所扮演的角色與意義,讓學生一窺公共藝術的全貌。課程主要探討方向如下:
1.有系統介紹公共藝術的表現形式,及立法前、立法後的存在及演變。
2.了解實務操作過程,從創意發想、材料、軟體輔助、技術工法、製作模型、民眾參與等流程。
3.透過課程啟迪美感教育,豐富生活內涵,喚起學生探索自我潛能與獨立思考創作之能力。

This course introduces what public art is, understands the difference between public art and artistic creation, considers the balance point between artistic aesthetics and public discourse, and explores the role and significance of public art in intervening life and environment from the perspective of legal sources, aesthetic education, and practical operations, allowing students to have a glimpse of the whole picture of public art. The main discussion directions of the course are as follows:
1. Systematically introduce the manifestations of public art, as well as its existence and evolution before and after legislation.
2. Understand the practical operation process, from creative ideas, materials, software assistance, technical construction methods, model production, public participation and other processes.
3. Enlighten aesthetic education through courses, enrich the connotation of life, and arouse students' ability to explore their own potential and independent thinking and creation.
