GL:International Political, Social ,and Economics Policy

教育目標 Course Target

This course is designed for the students to explore main current of international relations; prevailing theories and approaches to global and international studies; major forces and history of international politics; the nature of international system, the nature of power; the cause of conflict; global governance and conditions for international cooperation and peace; the international political economy; the role of international organizations and law in managing conflict and establishing world order and peace.

The contents for this course including:the prevailing theories and approaches to international studies; major forces and history of international politics; the international system; the the nature of power; the balance of power; the collective security; the cause of war; the analysis and evaluation of national interests; international political economy; international organizations and law ;the nature of international order and the quest for universal peace through: (1)world empire or a world state,(2)functionalism and world community,(3)global governance and new world order.
