教學目標：
篆刻藝術為東方特有的藝術表現形式，其本質即是平面及空間的設計。本課程介紹篆刻藝術特色並培養篆刻美感特質、欣賞能力及篆刻技法。 並旁及對於印材、印鈕、邊款拓刻、印譜及精裝善本書裝幀製作， 藉由其與書法藝術、彫刻、設計造形及線條美感之密切關係中汲取創作能力與經驗。
教學大綱：
一、熟習各體篆書及識篆能力。
二、章法佈白之設計及運用。
三、線條質感的欣賞及探討。
四、篆刻刀法研習探討。
五、邊款技法與拓製技術。
六、歷代篆刻名品之賞析研討。
七、印材賞鑑與印鈕欣賞。
八、篆刻周邊知識、技藝之研討與製作。Teaching objectives:
The art of seal cutting is a unique form of artistic expression in the East, and its essence is the design of planes and spaces. This course introduces the artistic characteristics of seal cutting and cultivates the aesthetic qualities, appreciation and techniques of seal cutting. In addition to the production of printing materials, seal buttons, edge engravings, seals and hardcover rare book bindings, we can draw on our creative abilities and experience through their close relationship with the art of calligraphy, sculpture, design and shape, and the beauty of lines.
Syllabus:
1. Be familiar with various styles of seal script and have the ability to read them.
2. The design and application of the rules and regulations.
3. Appreciation and discussion of line texture.
4. Study and discussion on seal cutting technique.
5. Border techniques and tapping techniques.
6. Appreciation and study of famous seal cutting products of past dynasties.
7. Appreciation of seal materials and seal buttons.
8. Research and production of knowledge and skills surrounding seal cutting.
