了解膠彩具有的傳統意義及媒材之原始性，以認知的製程、知識，與孰悉媒材作為基礎，加以當代文化之個人經驗，從中建立符合現代的表現方式。
原始的材料，如何延續及展現當代之表現性，是透過媒材選擇、演練實作，達到控制及穩定性，媒材的使用可加強作品的語意；藉由過程來呼應個人思考，並從中建立創作邏輯，從習作的演練，思考製作與創作之重要性。

How to continue and display the contemporary expressiveness of original materials is to achieve control and stability through media selection and practice. 課程著重於膠彩媒材的廣泛應用，藉由介紹各種技法與素材的交互配合及演練，開發並擴充膠彩創作的領域。
