「婦女與社會工作」是從性別的視角出發，針對女性的生理、心理特性之多樣化，關注女性的聲音與經驗，回應女性的需要，以解決女性在社會上所面臨的各種問題與挑戰，進而發展出來的社會工作實務領域。
"Women and social work" is a social work practice field developed from the perspective of gender, reflecting the diversity of female physiological and psychological characteristics, focusing on women's voices and experiences, responding to women's needs, in order to solve various problems and challenges faced by women in society, and thus developing the field of social work.
本課程著重於性別與婦女問題的察覺，並學習社會工作處遇方法，以及思考婦女福利服務及婦女政策等議題。
This course focuses on the perception of gender and women’s problems, and learn about social work experiences, as well as thinking about women’s welfare services and women’s policies.
