教育目標 Course Target

隨著「中國因素」這套話語在台灣的政治與社會論述中流行,「今日香港,明日台灣」也相應成為一個耳熟能詳的標語,隱含了港臺社會相互的政治情感投射(或者政客的籌碼)。當中,香港往往成為台灣建構認同的他者,因而香港殖民與後殖民的歷史、社會與文化的流變、身分認同的複雜與困惑等也隨之消失在這樣的政治投射中。當香港學者指出,香港主體往往在殖民主義與後殖民的國族話語中被消失(或被視而不見)的時候,同樣也值得台灣在聲援或批評香港問題、或研究及思索兩岸三地關係時自我警惕。如何在歷史與方法上進入香港社會文化的肌理,並在這樣互為主體的過程中,進而反思見台灣社會的發話位置、常識與政治情感?這是這堂課在深入介紹學生香港文化與政治的同時,期待引發學生思考的面向。 「香港」作為一門研究或一門課,是難以涵蓋所有香港的社會文化肌理面向,而「全面理解香港」的期待,在知識上本身就冒著將「香港」整體化、簡化的危機。「初探香港身分與政治」這門課以身分政治作為切入點,透過相關的二手分析與研究為閱讀材料,就殖民主義的批判、左派的政治經濟分析、政治治理管制與政治運動、民間與社會運動、文化分析、本土主義、移民移工與少數族裔等議題等二手資料,疏理香港身分政治的流變與思想,嘗試深入理解香港的政治歷史、社會、文化的特定面向。透過這堂課,學生也能夠具體學習殖民與後殖民身分的理論討論、文化想像的分析、社會運動與底層邊緣的文化再現等方法。With the phrase "Chinese Factor" popular in Taiwan's political and social discourse, "Hong Kong today, Taiwan tomorrow" also becomes a familiar phrase, implying the mutual political emotional projection of Hong Kong and Taiwan society (or politician codes). During this period, Hong Kong often becomes the other person who is recognized by Taiwan, so the history of Hong Kong's colonialism and post-colonialism, the transformation of social and cultural, the complexity and confusion of identity recognition also disappears into such political projections. When Hong Kong scholars point out that the Hong Kong subject is often disappeared (or seen but ignored) in colonialist and post-colonial national languages, it is also worthy of Taiwan’s self-warmness when it is loudly aided or criticized Hong Kong issues, or researched and thought about the relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. How can we enter the texture of Hong Kong's social culture in history and methods, and in this process of being the main body, we can reflect on the speaking position, common sense and political emotions of Taiwan society? This is the direction that this course looks forward to attracting students' thinking while in-depth introduction to Hong Kong culture and politics. As a research or a course, "Hong Kong" is difficult to cover all the social and cultural aspects of Hong Kong, and the expectation of "full understanding of Hong Kong" is risking the crisis of holistic and simplification of "Hong Kong" in terms of knowledge. "A preliminary exploration of Hong Kong identity and politics" This course takes identity politics as the starting point. Through relevant second-hand analysis and research as reading materials, it provides second-hand information on the criticism of colonialism, political economic analysis of the left, political governance and political movement, civil and social movement, cultural analysis, localism, immigration and migrant workers and minority ethnic groups, and tries to deeply understand the specific aspects of Hong Kong's identity politics, and try to deeply understand the specific aspects of Hong Kong's political history, society and culture. Through this class, students can also learn specific methods such as colonial and postcolonial identities, analysis of cultural imagination, social movement and cultural resurrection at the bottom.
