These alternative economic models, commonly known as social and solidarity economy (SSE), survive outside or in the mainstream economic model, and are usually not subject to the target due to their small or edge-to-edge scale, including various types of production or consumer cooperatives, fair trade movement, alternative currency, community-supported agriculture, circular economy, shared economy, developmental social work, etc. Different societies and groups of economic types and specific cases have their own countermeasures. After the classical prototypes have achieved different degrees and levels of success, they are usually advocated, imitated and copied, but the results are different. The academic and practical worlds have made the most important efforts to identify important mechanisms, evaluating outcomes and unintended consequences, and to explore innovative strategies to increase the likelihood of success. Social intervention plays an important role in this effort. This course is also an invitation to jointly explore: through existing research papers, examine the problems and causal strategies unique to these social groups' economic types, and provide intellectual preparations for social intervention.
