This course introduces the core and evolution of Western political thought, hoping to allow learners to understand different values and thus produce in-depth discussions. The discussions during the last year focused on Greece, Italy during the period of literary rejuvenation, and social contracts. The focus of this period is on liberalism, full will, and social democracy. First of all, Lu Suo urgently said that freedom is expensive and that others cannot strengthen their will. Hegel and Marx were both influenced by him to integrate into the group as the premise of freedom. Burke does not object to this statement, but to the romanticism implicated by the revolution. Secondly, we should discuss utilitarianism and its amendments, and end with the correctness of Greene's "free legislation" and "social legislation".
