本學期課程著重在介紹計算機與電信網路領域中有關「資料通訊」(Data Communications)的
基本概念，包含以下幾個主題：

2. Network Models
3. Data and Signals
4. Digital Transmission
5. Analog Transmission
6. Bandwidth Utilization: Multiplexing and Spreading
7. Transmission Media
8. Antenna Systems(optional)
