課程目標 (Course Objectives)
本課程主旨在協助同學提升口語及文字表達,思辨能力和人際溝通技巧,並將包含職場工作所需之相關內容,以幫助您增強自己的能力。學生透過觀賞相關的演講與閱讀世界經濟,飲食與文化、產業趨勢相關議題,商業書信,商務英語溝通,將所學充分內化,運用思辨、對話、實體經驗,在知能上產生更深的學習效果,以提升思考與判斷的能力。通常,課堂將安排以主題共同討論和課堂公開發表練習,以及e商務媒體工具(communicating electronically)的使用。
This course is intended to help you think strategically about communication and aid you in improving your writing, presentation, critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills as a future manager. We will look at a set of "best practices" or guidelines that have been derived from both research and experience, give you the opportunity to put those guidelines into practice, and provide you with feedback on your work to help you strengthen your abilities. More often than not, we will be using a workshop format that will rely heavily on discussion and in-class exercises.
課程內涵 (Course Contents)
Good communication is one of the keys to a successful career no matter what field you choose, and many different skills contribute to a professional's capacity to communicate well. By the time you complete this course, you should be able to formulate an effective communication, write clearly and concisely, listen for understanding, work effectively with others in teams. Development of these skills is achieved through feedback from the instructor as well as from peers. Improving communication is a continuous process of learning, doing, critiquing, evaluating, and doing again. It is a process that we hope will continue for you even after you complete this course.Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to help students improve their oral and literal expression, thinking skills and human communication skills, and will include relevant content required for work in the field to help you enhance your abilities. Students fully internalize what they learn through viewing and reading world economy, diet and culture and industry trends, business book letters, business English communication, and use thinking, dialogue and physical experience to produce deeper learning effects in knowledge, in order to improve their ability to think and judge. Usually, classes will arrange topical discussions and public lectures for class, as well as the use of e-commerce media tools (communicating electronically).
