東南亞核心國家係指泰國、越南、印尼、馬來西亞和菲律賓等5個國家。這5國不僅是目前最新崛起的新興經濟體(Tiger Cub Economies)，同時也扮演不同的地緣要角，對於東南亞的局勢有著深刻的影響。基於此，本課程嘗試從地緣政治、國家發展潛力、重點產業政策和國家定位等面向，逐一舉例論述和剖析，期望配合學理和實例的佐證，提供同學基本的認知及知識基礎。

The core countries in Southeast Asia refer to five countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. These five countries are not only the latest emerging Tiger Cub Economies, but also play different geopolitical roles, which has a profound impact on the situation in Southeast Asia. Based on this, this course attempts to explain and analyze examples one by one from the perspectives of local politics, national development potential, key industry policies and national positioning. It is expected to cooperate with the support of science and examples to provide basic knowledge and knowledge foundation for students.
