一、 教學目的: 本課程為3-0學分之設計，除讓學生了解工業會計的專業知識，特別是廠商營運流程與工業會計兩者之間相關概念的了解，並啟發學生利用此課程之知識，協助其對工業工程相關議題之思考與應用，以提昇決策品質。
二、 主要內容 工業會計是廠商營運過程與營運結果的主要具體呈現工具之一。
本課程主要內容除工業會計理論與原則的傳授之外，同時著重於廠商營運過程的了解及營運過程的資訊收集方法，並將之轉化為工業會計。利用其資訊，讓學生了解企業營運系統，並據以協助或制定公司整體的營運方針與策略。
