本課程以哲學思辨、影像與電影為主,探索三者間的跨域連結的關係。亞里斯多德確立了影像(image)與事物(chose)的關係,指出影像是事物的模仿。上帝用自己的形象造人,人由是成為神的仿造品。瑪格麗特一系列「影像背叛」的作品敲醒了這個世界,使人重新思考影像與事物的關係。布希亞進一步以「超真實」省思影像,布朗肖則看見影像與屍體的曖昧關係。二十一世紀逐漸由文字轉向影像的世代,那麼,我們必然要追問,在這個充斥微電影、直播、迷因的時代裡,影像究竟是什麼?本課程希冀藉由影像分析能力的建立,使學生具備人文、藝術和倫理的涵養與鑑賞能力,關懷自身處境與自我理解。此外,通過影像議題的反思開啟多元創造性思考及獨立重構思想的能力,培育與國際並駕齊驅的全球性視野。This course focuses on philosophical thinking, image and movies, and explores the relationship between the three across domains. Aristotle confirmed the relationship between image and choice, pointing out that image is an imitation of things. God created man in his own image, and man became God's imitation. Maglite's series of "image betrayal" works wake up this world and make people rethink the relationship between images and things. Buschia further reflects on the image with "super real" and Browniao sees the obscure relationship between the image and the body. As the twenty-first century gradually shifts from words to images, then, we must ask, in this era full of micro-movies, live broadcasts, and memes, what exactly are images? This course hopes to establish image analysis capabilities to enable students to have the ability to cultivate and evaluate humanities, arts and ethics, and to care about their own situation and self-understanding. In addition, through reflection on imaging topics, we will open up the ability to diversify creative thinking and independent emphasis on ideas, and cultivate a global vision with international and driving force.
