本課程では、１学期の実習の課題をふまえ、自身の語学の学習経験を内省しながら、将来、塾や高校で、あるいは家庭教師として日本語（中国語）を教える時に役立つコースデザインと教材作成の方法を学ぶ。またこうした活動を通して言語教育の意味を考える。
1.さまざまな言語教育の目的と方法を学ぶ
2.教科書の構成、多元的な教材、教具を学ぶ
3.目的に合う教材や教具（例：文法、読解、聴解、翻訳、映像、デジタル教材、リソース教材）を作る
4.さまざまな教授法を学び目的に合う教室活動をデザインする
5.学習者の学習目的や時間を考慮してコースデザインを行う
6.特定の学習者（例：日本語を第二外国語として学ぶ学習者、日本で外国語として中国語を学ぶ学習者、台湾で第二言語として中国語を学ぶ学習者）を対象にコースデザインを行い、教材も作って教育活動を行う。
