我們身處在數位時代之中,歷史的資料尋找、探勘使用和描述都出現了很大的變化。台灣歷史學界在中央研究院、圖書和博物館、業界和對岸資料庫的建置浪潮中,逐步開起了史料數位化的過程;自2002年起更推動所謂「數位人文」計畫,進一步加速了力道;現今歷史學界地理資訊系統(GIS)、社會網絡分析(SNA, Social Network Analysis)、文本分析和文本標記都有一些不錯的成果展示。然而,數位化不僅僅是幫助歷史家進行更大跨度,跨系統間的關聯性檢索而已;數位化壓縮、虛擬空間的再造能力可能更值得我們注意。歷史的「再現」,於今不再限制於文字的描述,圖像的片斷想像。近年CCC創作集、台灣吧所引起的注目,只是起點。
數位時代的史料性質同樣正在進行改變,除了過往文獻的數位化外,當代的資料很多是以數位化的型態的存在。網頁內容不見得像文獻紙本能保存的更久。黃銘崇對台灣318學運的數位資料的資料建置工作推對即是奠基於此。從當代史料的產生,鑑別到使用,以及對未來的歷史學將進行更多元的反思?更重要的是,在資料之外,未來歷史的表述勢必有新的發展與展演的形式。目前學界尚乏相關系統性的課程訓練與設計。近年AR和VR的運用已經開始普遍,技術資本門檻限制也隨著產業發展已經降低,這一趨勢將有利於過去受限於資本和技術的限制,能夠尋求更多元的呈現歷史方式。有鑒於此,本課程將進行歷史學對數位媒材概念進行引導、探討,議題創作與進行基礎性製作的訓練。
We are in the digital age, and historical data search, exploration use and description have undergone great changes. The Taiwan historical community has gradually started the process of digitalization of historical materials in the wave of construction of the Central Academy of Sciences, books and museums, industry and offshore databases; since 2002, it has promoted the so-called "digital humanities" project, further accelerating its efforts; the current historical community's geographical information system (GIS), social network analysis (SNA, Social Network Analysis), text analysis and text tags have shown some good results. However, digitalization is not only a way to help historians to conduct greater spans and cross-system correlation searches; the ability to recreate digital compression and virtual space may be more worthy of our attention. The "resurrection" of history is no longer limited to the description of text and the imagination of images now. The attention attracted by CCC creation collections and Taiwan Bar in recent years is just the starting point.
The historical properties of the digital age are also being changed. In addition to the digitalization of past texts, many of the contemporary data exist in a digital form. The content of the web cannot be saved longer like the instinct of the paper. Huang Liangchong's promotion of data construction work on digital data in Taiwan's 318 education is the foundation for this. From the generation of contemporary historical materials, to the use of them, and to conduct more diverse reflections on future history? More importantly, in addition to the data, the expression of future history must have new forms of development and performance. At present, there is no relevant systematic course training and design in the academic community. In recent years, the use of AR and VR has become common, and the limitations of technical capital doors have also been reduced with the development of industry. This trend will be beneficial to the past limitations of capital and technology, and can seek more diverse historical methods. Here, this course will conduct historical guidance and exploration of the concept of digital media, and will conduct training on topic creation and basic production.
