本課程旨在引導學生瞭解臺灣中部區域發展概況，透過重要文獻、檔案、公私文書之解讀與分析，並結合校外參訪實地踏勘，深入瞭解中部區域的歷史發展。上課採講授和討論並用方式，引導學生學習解讀文獻，掌握中部區域發展特色，培養獨立從事區域史專題研究之能力。教學評量方式為平時上課討論表現和學期報告。

This course aims to guide students to understand the overview of the development of the central region of Taiwan. Through the interpretation and analysis of important documents, archives, public and private documents, and combined with off-campus field visits, students can gain an in-depth understanding of the historical development of the central region. Classes use a combination of lectures and discussions to guide students to learn to interpret documents, grasp the development characteristics of the central region, and cultivate the ability to independently engage in special research on regional history. Teaching evaluation methods include daily class discussion performance and semester reports.
