本課程之目標係以訓練法律人於面對現今法律實務及法學研究之全球化之趨勢時，應具備之基礎法學英文聽、說︑讀︑寫之能力，透過課程訓練與練習，加強對法學英文的熟悉度及運用，以助日後從事國際法學研究或實務之能力︒本課程包含基礎法學英文聽︑說︑讀︑寫全方位之研習，此學期的法學英文精選特定領域的法學文章，以充實基礎法學英文字彙，輔以美國判例之研讀與撰寫摘要，加強法學英文讀與寫的
能力︒於法學聽力之訓練上，配合課程之進度依據法學領域之討論，選取相關法律報導加以聽力訓練︒另於法學英文陳述上，加強同學以英文表達研究領域之議題與學術討論的能力︒The purpose of this course is to train legal professionals to face the trend of globalization of current legal practices and legal research, and should have the ability to listen, speak, and write in English in English.
