透過多個案研究,尤其東海大學校園校舍有形文化資產之價值評估,闡述建築藝術批評之意義與內涵。本課將提出批評建築作品之方法論與技術,彰顯其在提升學術界建築研究以及專業界建築設計水平力道之途徑,以及其與地域或全球建築史、理論之關連。進而將之關連起有形文化資產保存實務中,闡明其與文資本身歷史、文、藝術美學、科技、社會價值之發掘,亦及與文資保存工作核心範疇的密切關係。
於上述課程所傳授之知能,期盼可提升同學自我建築設計發展過程中 反省評估各種方案之能力。同時明瞭到,若要從事文資保存專業時,該儲備關鍵知能以辨明文資之價值所在。甚而對有志攅研建築史、理論領域,而進入建築批評專業的同學,有所啟發,並儲備基礎能力。 Through multiple case studies, especially the value evaluation of the tangible cultural assets of the campus buildings of Donghai University, the meaning and connotation of the criticism of architecture art. This course will propose methodological discussions and techniques for criticizing architectural works, highlighting their paths to improve the level of architecture research in the academic community and the professional community's architecture design, as well as their connection with regional or global architectural history and theory. In addition, it connects the tangible cultural assets to preserve and realize its close relationship with the historical, literary, artistic aesthetics, science and technology, and social value of cultural assets itself, as well as its close relationship with the core scope of cultural assets preservation work.
The knowledge taught in the above courses is expected to improve students' ability to reflect and evaluate various solutions during the development of self-construction design. At the same time, it is clear that if you want to work in the professional preservation of cultural resources, you should provide key knowledge to identify the value of cultural resources. Even students who are interested in the field of architectural history and theory and enter the architectural criticism major have some development and have basic capabilities.
