Seminar: Issues of Contemporary Art (I)-2D Media
教育目標 Course Target
透過課堂的討論與研究書寫、與同學及老師的對話過程培養學生個人在議題關心、創作發展、以及觀察與思辨的能力。以課堂相互討論分享作品,加上期中、期末邀請業界專業人員參與評圖的方式讓學生從中練習對話、溝通以及思辨,並經驗不同觀點與角度的作品詮釋方式。老師介紹展覽以及藝術家,以及期中、期末兩種不同報告的研究寫作,可讓學生檢視自身創作的方向、概念、手法,並對未來的發展有所助益。
Through classroom discussions, research writing, and dialogue with classmates and teachers, students’ personal abilities in topic concern, creative development, and observation and critical thinking are cultivated. Classroom discussions and sharing of works are carried out, and industry professionals are invited to participate in picture review during the mid-term and final period, allowing students to practice dialogue, communication and thinking, and experience different perspectives and perspectives on how to interpret works. The teacher introduces the exhibition and the artist, as well as the research and writing of two different mid-term and final reports, which allows students to examine the direction, concepts, and techniques of their own creation, and is helpful for future development.
課程概述 Course Description
本課程為研究所跨領域創作課程,強調不以媒介/媒材區隔的藝術創作概念;為方便區隔教學重點的差異性,攏統區分為平面/空間/跨域媒介,本學期專題(一)以平面媒介探究為主,專題(三)則為本系列課程同形式不同內容的課程。透過閱讀、書寫及評圖,統整學生創作企圖、媒介技法、訊息溝通之經驗,和創作論述、表達之能力。邀請當代優秀年輕的藝術創作者或策展人協同教學、另邀活躍於藝術界的創作者與評論人參與期末公開評圖。本課程可做為學生藝術創作職涯發展之準備。
This course is an interdisciplinary creative course of the Institute, emphasizing the concept of artistic creation that is not divided by media/media materials. In order to facilitate the differentiation of teaching focus, it is divided into plane/space/cross-domain media. Topic (1) of this semester is mainly about the exploration of flat media, and topic (3) is a course with the same form but different content in this series of courses. Through reading, writing and criticizing pictures, students’ creative intentions, media techniques, information communication experience, and creative discussion and expression abilities are integrated. Invite outstanding young contemporary art creators or curators to teach together, and invite creators and critics active in the art world to participate in the final public review. This course can prepare students for career development in artistic creation.
