6511 - 社會工作專業文化專題 The Seminar on Social Work Culture


教育目標 Course Target

在社會工作短短一百多年的發展歷史中,一直有個「擔心自己不夠專業」的生存焦慮。而美國社會工作的專業化過程,就是一個追求「科學地位」,且是以「醫學」為仿效對象的專業化歷程;繼受美國社會工作的台灣,也承接了這樣的專業發展架構與思維。 本課程希望我們一起來針對同一議題、不同觀看角度的論文,來進行閱讀、對話、討論、分享,讓自己有機會來重新理解及重看社會工作,例如針對「以證據為基礎的社會工作」這個議題,「科學化」、「醫療化」的觀點怎麼看,「人本主義」、「詮釋取向」的觀點怎麼看。只有不斷地重新理解及重看社會工作,才有移動的可能,進而有多元的社會工作知識生產,這便是本課程的核心理念。此外,本課程也希望協助修課同學了解如何閱讀文獻,並對一個議題進行思辯;透過這種能力的培養,增進自己深度思度的能力,並帶著這樣的能力,為社會工作的知識生產及實踐貢獻一己之力。 In the development history of social work for more than 100 years, there has always been a survival anxiety of "being worried about not being proficient". The professionalization process of American social work is a professionalization process that pursues "scientific status" and uses "medical" as an object to imitate it; Taiwan, which is affected by American social work, has also undertaken such professional development structure and thinking. This course hopes that we will read, talk, discuss and share articles from the same topic and different perspectives, so that we can have the opportunity to re-understand and re-view social work, such as the topic of "certification-based social work", how to view the views of "scientificization", "medicalization", and "humanism", and "describing orientation". Only by constantly re-understanding and re-viewing social work can there be a possibility of movement and diversified social work knowledge production. This is the core concept of this course. In addition, this course also hopes to assist students in learning how to read articles and think about a topic; through the cultivation of this ability, they can enhance their ability to think deeply, and with such ability, they can contribute their own efforts to the knowledge production and practice of social work.
