唐代文學各文類發展繁富多樣，作者個性強烈鮮明，是古典文學極為重要的階段，其中唐詩又被稱為唐代文學代表，具有樞紐性的關鍵地位。本課程的開設，一方面深化唐詩史的認識，更可藉由閱讀唐各家詩歌，領略其中充滿躍動的創造力、特立、豐沛的精神視野。唐代詩人用詩歌揮灑自己的生命，更認為寫詩是最可憑藉的信物，這些眾聲喧嘩、自由多元的時代特色，成就了唐詩的獨特性與不朽地位。

The development of various literary genres in the Tang Dynasty was rich and diverse, and the authors had strong and distinctive personalities. It was an extremely important stage for classical literature. Among them, Tang poetry is also known as the representative of Tang Dynasty literature and has a pivotal position. This course is designed to not only deepen the understanding of the history of Tang poetry, but also to appreciate the vibrant creativity, uniqueness and rich spiritual vision in the poetry of various Tang poets. Poets of the Tang Dynasty used poetry to express their lives, and they believed that writing poetry was the most trustworthy token. These characteristics of the era of loud voices, freedom and diversity made Tang poetry unique and immortal.
