一、該課程在系所的定位宋明理學專題為中文所課程四大群組中的「學術思想組」，為本所之選修課程。二、所教授的專業能力本課程所教授者屬於宋明時代學術思想專業研究能力之培養。三、授課內容： 1.北宋儒學專題 2.濂溪理學思想專題 3.橫渠理學思想專題 4.二程理學思想專題 5.邵雍理學思想專題 6.朱子理學思想專題 7.象山理學思想專題 8.陽明理學思想專題 四、課程的教學目標：本課程目的在訓練學生具備對宋明兩代在理學思想方面的研究能力。本課程包括約100個小子題，可以提供學生在思維及研究上的啟發。

The subject of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming dynasties is the "Academic Thought Group" among the four major groups of courses in the Institute of Chinese Language and Literature, and is an elective course in the institute. 2. Special topic on Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty 2. Special topic on Lianxi Neo-Confucian thought 3. Special topic on Hengqu’s Neo-Confucian thought 4. Special topic on Ercheng’s Neo-Confucian thought 5. Special topic on Shao Yong’s Neo-Confucian thought 6. Special topic on Zhu Xi’s Neo-Confucian thought 7. Special topic on Xiangshan’s Neo-Confucian thought 8. Special topic on Yangming’s Neo-Confucian thought 4. Teaching objectives of the course: The purpose of this course is to train students to have the ability to research the Neo-Confucian thought of the Song and Ming dynasties. This course includes about 100 sub-questions, which can provide students with inspiration in thinking and research.

本課程旨在訓練政治系同學在計量研究上的理論與實務，以便於未來無論在學術上或實務上瞭解社會、政治及經濟現象的本質，並能知道如何針對實際問題，提出研究計畫並實地從事蒐集資料，進一步分析得出結論。本課程主要分為四大部份：經驗研究的基礎；研究的設計與結構；資料的蒐集；資料的統計與分析。

This course aims to train students in the Department of Political Science in the theory and practice of quantitative research, so that they can understand the nature of social, political and economic phenomena both academically and practically in the future, and know how to propose research plans and collect data on the ground for practical problems, and further analyze and draw conclusions. This course is mainly divided into four parts: the basis of empirical research; the design and structure of research; the collection of data; and the statistics and analysis of data.
