教育目標 Course Target
In this course we learn about the interaction between humans and their environment, focusing on the fact that most people now live in cities. This course surveys many issues that are the research focus of the College of Environmental Studies, especially those that are the result of people living in high densities: energy use, sanitation, disaster preparedness, resource distribution, spread of communicable diseases, and climate change. This class also looks at economics, the Well-Being Index, and the Global Happiness Index. This class is in English.
