路思義教堂正式於2019年四月正式公吿國定古蹟，成為戰後台灣現代建築最重要的文化資產，也展現了東海大學校園超過一甲子作為全台灣最富人文精神的美麗校園稱號，一個更有公信力的印證，但東海豐厚的人文思想來自於師生的思辨理想與尊重環境脈絡的價值系統下，長期醞釀與聚積的成果，本微學分系列演講課程，將以「東海學：東海校園的人文與創新」為主題，邀請如建築空間、生態環境、人文歷史、藝術創作…等不同領域的講者，來重現這個厚積而薄發的東海精神，從過去到現在，如何延續與演繹、傳承與創新。
The Lutheran Church was officially declared a national monument in April 2019. It has become the most important cultural asset of modern architecture in post-war Taiwan. It also shows that the Tunghai University campus has been the most beautiful campus with the most humanistic spirit in Taiwan for more than a decade. It is a more credible confirmation. However, Tunghai's rich humanistic thoughts come from the speculative ideals and respect for the environment of teachers and students. The result of long-term preparation and accumulation under the value system, this micro-credit lecture series will take "Donghai Studies: Humanities and Innovation on Donghai Campus" as the theme, inviting speakers from different fields such as architectural space, ecological environment, humanities and history, artistic creation... to reproduce the Donghai spirit, which has been accumulated but thinly developed, from the past to the present, how to continue and interpret, inherit and innovate.
