課程概述(Course Description)
新經濟(New Economy),意指傳統製造工業經濟的型態,轉變成新的科技經濟型態。也就是近年來,以網路、資訊與通訊科技應用為主體的新興產業。這波資通訊技術的進步與革命,造就美國在二十世紀末的經濟繁榮,稱為新經濟。
進入二十一世紀之後,美國在巨量資料、雲端運算、物聯網等領域上所引發的服務、商業模式的創新,造成新經濟的再起。再加上,這兩年人工智慧應用蔚為風潮,預期又將巔覆許多傳統產業與商業模式。此外,中國大陸因互聯網+所帶動的經濟成長,可視為中國版的新經濟。
面對美國與中國大陸這波新經濟的發展,勢將對臺灣產業整體供應鏈、生產模式及未來產業的競爭力,帶來極大的衝擊。面臨此一重大挑戰,產業需要掌握智慧科技帶來的破壞性的創新,積極地進行轉型,以因應這波因科技創新造成的新經濟與商業模式創新之風潮。
本課程將介紹這波因巨量資料(Big data)、雲端運算(cloud computing)、物聯網(IoT)、人工智慧(AI)等應用,在各個產業帶來了破壞性創新的新服務或營運模式,例如阿里巴巴集團(Alibaba group)、Amazon Go、優步(Uber)、共享旅館(Airbnb)、影音串流(Netflix)等,讓修課學生瞭解資通訊科技的應用,尤其是互聯網、物聯網、雲端運算、大數據、人工智慧等,如何讓企業創造新的服務與商業模式,並對原有產業造成革命性的衝擊。
課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents)
本課程旨在讓修課學生:
1. 瞭解初探為何智慧科技如何創造新經濟。
2. 熟悉觀察智慧科技如何協助企業,進行服務或商業模式的創新,如工業4.0及零售4.0如何運用智慧科技進行營運的創新。
3. 熟悉觀察並分析共享經濟與循環經濟如何創新價值。
4. 初步瞭解企業如何利用智慧科技進行轉型創新。
Course Description
New Economy refers to the transformation of the traditional manufacturing industrial economy into a new technological economy. That is, in recent years, emerging industries based on the application of Internet, information and communication technology. This wave of progress and revolution in information and communication technology created the economic prosperity of the United States at the end of the twentieth century, which is called the New Economy.
After entering the 21st century, the innovation of services and business models triggered by the United States in fields such as massive data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things has led to the resurgence of the new economy. In addition, the application of artificial intelligence has become a trend in the past two years and is expected to overturn many traditional industries and business models. In addition, the economic growth driven by Internet+ in mainland China can be regarded as the Chinese version of the new economy.
Facing the new wave of economic development in the United States and mainland China, it will have a huge impact on Taiwan's overall industrial supply chain, production model and future industry competitiveness. Facing this major challenge, the industry needs to grasp the disruptive innovation brought by smart technology and actively transform to cope with this wave of new economy and business model innovation caused by technological innovation.
This course will introduce this wave of new services or operating models that have brought disruptive innovation to various industries due to applications such as Big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as Alibaba Group, Amazon Go, Uber, shared hotels (Airbnb), video streaming (Netflix), etc., allow students to understand how the application of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet, Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, etc., allows companies to create new services and business models, and have a revolutionary impact on existing industries.
Course Objectives and Contents
This course is designed to enable students to:
1. Understand why and how smart technology can create a new economy.
2. Be familiar with and observe how smart technology can help companies innovate services or business models, such as how Industry 4.0 and Retail 4.0 use smart technology to innovate operations.
3. Be familiar with observing and analyzing how the sharing economy and circular economy create value.
4. Understand initially how companies use smart technology to carry out transformation and innovation.
