隨著社會大眾對於維護個人權益之意識逐漸高漲，在醫療領域中出現醫療糾紛之情形並非罕見；而反映在司法實務上，可觀察到醫療訴訟之數量似有逐年增長的現象。此外，在醫療科技不斷向前突破的現在與將來，諸多圍繞著醫學倫理與法律而生之衝突或疑義，早已顯現其有進一步探討之必要性與實益性，故於上揭背景下，醫事相關法規向受醫界、法界及學界之重視。有鑑於醫學與法學交會下所延伸出之相關議題，不僅對於醫事人員、對於病人甚或其家屬之權益亦影響甚鉅，因此本課程擬以全面之視角，系統性地介紹醫事法的各個子領域；並在此基礎上，輔以重要案例來進一步對照、思考理論與實務結合後的運作境況是否切合實際，或猶有待改善之空間，俾使有意願進一步了解此一新興法學領域者，得以認識醫事相關法規之體系、掌握其中之重要概念或爭議所在。

As the public's awareness of safeguarding personal rights and interests gradually increases, medical disputes are not uncommon in the medical field. Reflected in judicial practice, it can be observed that the number of medical lawsuits seems to be increasing year by year. In addition, as medical technology continues to make breakthroughs now and in the future, many conflicts or doubts surrounding medical ethics and law have already shown the necessity and usefulness of further discussion. Therefore, under the above background, medical-related laws and regulations have attracted the attention of the medical, legal and academic circles. In view of the fact that the related issues extended by the intersection of medicine and law have a great impact not only on the rights and interests of medical personnel, but also on patients and their families. Therefore, this course intends to systematically introduce various sub-fields of medical law from a comprehensive perspective; and on this basis, it will be supplemented by important cases. This example is used to further compare and consider whether the operating situation after combining theory and practice is realistic, or whether there is still room for improvement, so that those who are willing to further understand this emerging legal field can understand the system of medical-related regulations and grasp the important concepts or controversies therein.
