本課程探索數位媒材在造型設計創作、三維自由曲面及其它景觀裝置藝術等應用、表現與技巧原則,以3D模型軟體 (Rhinoceros 和Lumion或3ds max)為訓練核心,自入門操作、簡易造型、進階造型等,並涵蓋Computer Aided Design(電腦輔助設計)、Parametric Generation (參數生成)、Digital Fabrication(數位製造)等重要當代數位資訊概念。
課程重點包括對數位工具的整體性了解,掌握數位思考(Computational Thinking)與類比思考模式的概念差異,訓練數位工具技術,廣泛涉獵當代數位建模相關發展,進一步加強學生對數位造型與表現的深入認識。
This course explores the application, representation and technical principles of digital media in styling design creation, three-dimensional free surfaces and other landscape device art. It uses 3D model software (Rhinoceros and Lumion or 3ds max) as the training core, and uses self-entering operations, simple styling, advanced styling, etc., and covers important contemporary digital information concepts such as Computer Aided Design, Parametric Generation, and Digital Fabrication.
The course focuses on the overall understanding of digital tools, mastering the conceptual differences between Computational Thinking and genre thinking patterns, training digital tool technology, and extensively focusing on the development of contemporary digital modeling, further enhancing students' in-depth understanding of digital modeling and performance.

3D模擬聽起來很公式化也很無趣,畢竟去模仿已經存在的東西需要的多半是技術層面的功夫,少有設計者該有的巧思與創意;但是若能把設計創作作品視覺化,或者將ㄧ首很有意境的詩視覺化,需要的就不只是對文字的理解力,更要有豐富的視覺思考、空間轉換及想像的能力。景觀模擬不是只有在課堂上用電腦才會發生的事情,它存在於我們每日的生活中,只要你肯用心去體會它。
課程目標 Course Objectives
完成這門課後,學生將能
1.熟練3ds max基本建模指令。
2.使用3ds max進階建模與編修指令。
3.呈現與模擬個人設計作品。
4.製作動畫。
5.操作競圖流程。
Course Description
3D simulations are very formulaic and fun to hear. In fact, imitating what already exists requires mostly technical skills, with few ingenuity and creativity that designers should have; but if you can visualize the design creation work, or visualize a very artistic poem, what you need is not only understanding of the text, but also rich visual thinking, space conversion and imagination. Scenic Simulation is not something that can only happen when using a computer in class. It exists in our daily lives, as long as you are willing to take care of it.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, students will be able to
1. Proficient in the basic modeling instructions of 3ds max.
2. Use 3ds max advanced modeling and editing instructions.
3. Present and simulate personal design works.
4. Make animations.
5. Operational graphics process.
