本課程是風景園林學本科生的學科基礎必修課程；本課程全面講述風景園林學科理論體系與知識框架，是風景園林學學生快速了解學科全貌，並進入專業學習的導論性課程。本課程由建築學院風景園林相關領域最知名的教授和學者主講，對風景園林學進行全景式的描述，以深入淺出的方式引導學生順利進入風景園林學的知識領域。具體從風景園林學的內涵與外延、人文社會、生態技術以及規劃設計等角度綜合出發，對風景園林的相關學科範疇、知識構架、思維方式和學科熱點加以全面的闡釋和引導，使學生對本科各個風景園林專業課程的定位和作用具有全面深入的了解。This course is a compulsory course for undergraduate students in Fengjingyuan Forestry; this course comprehensively describes the scientific system and knowledge framework of Fengjingyuan Forestry. It is a essay course for students in Fengjingyuan Forestry to quickly understand the overall picture of the subject and enter a professional learning essay course. This course is taught by the most well-known professors and students in the related field of the Scenic Garden Forest in the Architecture Academy. It provides a panoramic description of the Scenic Garden Forestry, and guides students to successfully enter the intellectual field of Scenic Garden Forestry in a deep and pure way. Specifically, it develops in a comprehensive manner from the perspectives of landscape garden forestry, humanities and society, ecological technology, and planning design, and provides comprehensive guidance and guidance on the relevant academic subjects, knowledge structure, thinking mode and academic hot spots of landscape garden forests, so that students have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the positioning and role of various undergraduate professional courses.
本課程乃大一新生第一學期必修之課，屬於景觀專業學習之入門介紹。全課程分為四階段如下：

〈二〉景觀專業介紹。
〈三〉國內外景觀教育。
〈四〉景觀設計與景觀規劃。
