每一門學科的發展史,是從事相關專業的學子所必備的知識,音樂史更是培養音樂專業人才不可或缺的素養。然而,在西方藝術音樂的專業訓練下,將中國音樂史置入這樣一個課程架構與教學系統中,究竟應居於什麼地位,又有何必要?同時,誠如德國音樂史學家達爾豪斯(Carl Dahlhaus, 1928-1989)所指出,音樂史面對著「歷史性」與「藝術性」之間的張力,中國音樂史也不例外。本課程企圖在「歷史性」、「文獻性」資料的引介與整合之外,進一步加強「藝術性」、「音樂性」認知層面的引導與開發,為身在台灣的西方古典音樂學習者,量身打造一門別開生面的中國音樂史課程,以提供有別於西方音樂、卻又可以會通於西方音樂的元素。唯有注入活水,才能讓學生們真正明白為什麼要學音樂史,以及學習中國音樂史的意義何在。The history of development of every subject is the knowledge that students who work in a relevant professional manner, and music history is an indispensable ingredient for cultivating professional music talents. However, under the professional training of Western art music, what position should Chinese music history be placed in such a course structure and teaching system, and why is it necessary? At the same time, as German music historian Carl Dahlhaus (1928-1989) pointed out, music history faces the strength between "historic" and "artistic", and Chinese music history is no exception. In addition to the introduction and integration of "historical" and "literary" materials, this course further strengthens the guidance and development of the "artistic" and "music" cognitive levels. It tailors a unique and innovative Chinese music history course for Western classical music learners in Taiwan to provide elements that are different from Western music and can be connected to Western music. Only by injecting live water can students truly understand why they need to learn music history and what is the meaning of learning Chinese music history.
中國音樂文化是東亞地區非常重要且影響深遠的音樂文化,與台灣的傳統音樂也有十分密切的關係。本課程介紹中國音樂自遠古至近代的發展歷史,使同學認識此一音樂文化遺產,增進對世界音樂和東亞音樂的了解,對臺灣傳統音樂的源流脈絡也能有更進一步的認識。
此外,本課程透過實際音樂範例的解說和聆賞,使同學領略中國音樂獨特的審美觀,培養更多元寬廣的音樂欣賞能力及視野。
課程進度:
本課程為一學年課程,分為上、下學期講授,上學期講授範圍為遠古至唐宋時期的宮廷音樂,下學期講授範圍為宋元明清的戲曲至近代。課程中並將配合相關主題介紹台灣的傳統音樂與近代西式新音樂的發展。
Chinese music culture is a very important and profound music culture in the East Asia region, and is also closely related to Taiwan's traditional music. This course introduces the history of Chinese music from ancient times to modern times, allowing students to understand this music culture, increase their understanding of world music and Eastern Asian music, and have a further understanding of the origin and flow of Taiwanese traditional music.
In addition, this course uses the explanation and listening of practical music examples to enable students to appreciate Chinese music's unique aesthetics and cultivate more diverse music appreciation abilities and vision.
Course progress:
This course is a year course, divided into lectures in the upper and lower school periods. The range of lectures in the upper school period is the palace music from ancient times to the Tang and Song dynasties, and the scope of lectures is from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties to modern times. During the course, we will introduce the traditional music in Taiwan and the development of modern Western-style new music in conjunction with relevant topics.
