「動物資源經營學」為大四上學期必修課，高年級學生已具備禽畜生理、飼養、營養、繁殖、育種、畜產品加工及生技產業等專業知識，加上經營管理學識，綜合運用經營一具經濟規模的畜產事業，堪為本系統整性課程。本深碗課程主要讓同學整合應用所學，並依近年來畜牧產業新知與未來發展來規劃其畜產事業，規劃內容包括牧場經濟規模與財務管控、各種估測經營規模之指標、畜禽生產管理指標、畜產原物料收購與產品銷售通路、品質與銷售管理、畜牧產業自動化及相關法規等，展現規劃創業能力，該企劃書可為其畢業作品。本課程採定期與指導教師討論主題及內容架構，配合「動物資源經營學」課程內容與進度，結合所學畜產專業知識、經營管理、法規、產銷等，藉由定期之討論逐步完成畜產事業企劃案，學生在討論過程中被引導思考、搜尋相關資料、展現整合之能力，並付諸文字及簡報表達。每位同學在學期結束前必須完成畜產事業企劃案，包括企劃書及期末報告。 "Animal Resources Business" is a compulsory course for seniors.
