(一)目標:透過課程的各個單元，對社會個案工作有概括性的了，本學期課程特別著重於個案工作實務的流程，學生能了解完整的個案工作處遇過程。
(二)內涵:本學期課程著重在兩個面向，第一是傳遞有關個案工作的基礎知識、相關價值倫理原則與專業關係建立等概念，第二是熟悉有關個案工作的各項技巧，從接案、收集資料、預估、擬定計畫、介入、資源連結、家系圖與生態圖繪製等內容。(I) Target: Through the various units of the course, it is a generalized social case work. This course focuses specifically on the process of case work, so that students can understand the complete case work experience.
(II) Connotation: This course focuses on two aspects. The first is to pass on basic knowledge about case work, related value ethics principles and professional relationship establishment, and the second is to be familiar with various skills about case work, from case handling, data collection, estimate, planning, intervention, resource links, family drawings and ecological drawings.
本課程的主要目標是透過課程的各個單元，對社會個案工作的概念與實務有概括性的瞭解。本學期課程特別著重於教授個案工作的流程，包括接案、收集資料、預估、處遇、評估、結案、個案記錄撰寫、與專業關係的建立等的概念與實務操作，並讓同學從各種不同案例中，練習實務技巧的運用，期望同學能學習一個個案完整的處理過程。
The main goal of this course is to have a general understanding of the concept and practice of social case work through various units of the course. This course focuses specifically on teaching the process of case work, including the concepts and practical operations of case reception, data collection, estimate, encounter, assessment, conclusion, case writing, and establishment of professional relationships. It also allows students to practice the use of practical skills from various different cases, and hopes that students can learn the complete processing process of a case.
